According to reports, the actor has finalized a film with director Nelson Dilipkumar. The RRR star was given some ideas for the movie by the director, who then locked the project. When the movie was being promoted in Chennai, Junior NTR stated that he wanted to work in Tamil cinema. In addition to this, he encouraged Director Vetrimaran to work with him. It looks like the actor is now prepared to work in Tamil movies.

Junior NTR was last seen in Devara-1. He played a dual role in this film. It is the story of a man named Devra, who is the village head indulges in smuggling. Later, he decides to give up the wrongdoings and stops other people from getting involved in wrongdoings. Through this, his enmity increases with many people. Seeing all of that, Devra decides to become a ghost that stops people from doing wrongdoings. For this, too, he has to leave his family.
