It's been over a decade since Varun Dhawan came into Bollywood. In a recent interview, he spoke of Bollywood in dire need of fresh change. He asked if the people at the top get it, really, with a tinge of concern. During the interview, he went on to state that superstars Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are on the same page in knowing how things have changed.

Varun talked about the Bollywood landscape and said more voices should come into the field. The actor shared that those in power need to reinvent themselves. "We all have to move forward. People who are in powerful positions right now have an age limit, people who have been doing the same thing for years. They are only at the top.

He went on to say, 'I am not sure whether they acknowledge it or not, but with time you have to change. We all have to do that and that includes me. It's tough because you don't want to change. The upcoming stars or the ones who still are hungry have those circles, but the people who are already at that stage, they don't have those people around them. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Amir Khan, they are not confused. They know what is happening.

Varun feels that the "industry needs different and new talents." He wondered why this isn't happening nowadays. As he said, "to enter the film industry becomes a bit difficult as all people have so many options to explore and then decide whether they want to be an actor or want to be an influencer or take the OTT route." Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will be seen next in 'Baby John' which will hit theaters on December 25 this year.
