The forest fire in California is badly affecting the lives of the people. From common people to Hollywood stars, everyone is forced to leave their homes and migrate to another place. Also, many Hollywood veterans have extended a helping hand to help the fire-affected people. Now, the name of legendary singer Taylor Swift has been added to the list of those helping. Recently, the actress posted a story and said that an amount had already been donated to her for the victims of the fires.

Singer Taylor Swift shared information about the donation on her Instagram story and encouraged her fans to do the same. "The fires in California have devastated so many families and it's been heartbreaking to watch these events unfold. So much suffering, loss, and destruction," the actress said. "While so many people are going through the most challenging time of their lives, there are also many organizations and groups coming together to help these communities rebuild," she added, adding, "These are the organizations I've donated to. If you'd like to donate, please do."

The singer also shared a list of organizations that are helping the victims, including '211 LA', 'California Community Foundation Fund', 'Direct Relief', 'Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation', 'Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles', 'Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation', 'Los Angeles Regional Food Bank', 'Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund', 'MusiCares' and 'Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund'.

According to Variety, more than 15,000 acres have burned in Pacific Palisades and Malibu, while the fire in Altadena burned more than 10,000 acres. The estimated cost of damage to Los Angeles due to the fires is US$250 billion and counting.
