In Tamil Nadu, the controversy over the movie "Amaran" is ongoing. A case of petrol bombs being thrown at a film theatre has now come out. Police say the incident was committed by unidentified criminals. There are no casualties the news. However, the Hindu Munnani (Hindu Front) employees were arrested by the police. According to the police, these individuals attempted to enter the movie theatre after the event. However, later the police released everyone.

According to the police, two miscreants threw petrol bombs at a cinema complex in Melapalayam. There was an explosion but no one was injured. There was no damage to property either.

Condemning the incident strongly, Tamil Nadu BJP vice-president Narayanan Tirupati said Islamic fundamentalist organizations such as SDPI, MNMK, and Tauheed Jamaat had opposed the biopic 'Amaran' on Major Mukund Varadarajan. "Major Mukund Varadarajan made his supreme sacrifice in the operation against terrorists. He was awarded the Ashok Chakra," said Narayanan Tirupati.

Narayanan Tirupati said that the film shows the terrorist incidents that took place in Kashmir. Some people are unable to tolerate it. Fundamentalist organizations have threatened the screening of the film. But the people of Tamil Nadu welcomed the film. Narayanan said that unable to digest this, fundamentalist organizations resorted to violence today and threw petrol bombs in a theater. A leader of Hindu Munnani said that some members led by the organization's state vice-president VP Jayakumar had come to console the theater owner. But they were taken into custody.

Amaran brings to the screen the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, which comes across as special. Rajkumar Periyasamy has directed the film. Raj Kamal Films International has produced it in association with Sony Pictures Films India. Actor Sivakarthikeyan is in the lead role. Actress Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, and Rahul Bose are also important roles in the movie. The film is inspired by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book "India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes". The book captures the story of the bravery and valor of Major Mukund.
