Tabu does not want to play the role of a younger woman, also talked about the character in 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha'

Bollywood actress Tabu is waiting for the release of her upcoming film 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha'. In this film, she will be seen with actor Ajay Devgan. The audience is very eager to see both of them on screen once again. She has recently talked about characters according to age. She said that recently older actors have started playing young characters on screen. Tabu said that earlier when there was no concept of age reduction, different actors used to play the young character of the hero.

Tabu said in a recent conversation that, unlike the actors, she does not want to play the role of a young woman on screen anymore. She said that if she is offered such roles, she will not do it. She said that she does not think that she will be ready to play the role of a 30-year-old girl now. The actress clearly said that she has no choice but to accept her age.

'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' shows the story of such lovers, who meet again after 23 years. Young versions of Tabu and Ajay Devgan have been played by other stars in the film. Shantanu Maheshwari and Sai M Manjrekar will be seen in young roles in the film. When Tabu came to know about this casting choice in the film, she was relieved. Tabu believes that sometimes playing a younger role can seem pretentious, especially when the audience knows their real age.

Tabu further said that the audience has seen how those actors look now. However, having older actors playing younger roles depends on the film and its concept. Sometimes it can work really well. But for 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha', they didn't need it. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film will release in theatres on August 2.
