Sujoy Ghosh took a big step as soon as he stepped down from 'King', going to make a thriller film

Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh is reportedly in talks with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor for a thriller. The two had planned to collaborate in 2021 but had to postpone it due to ups and downs in their schedule. Now, they are reworking the idea with plans to begin production in 2025.

Known for 'Kahaani' (2012) and 'Badla' (2019), Ghosh is reportedly finished with the script. Plot details are kept under wraps, but it will hopefully be the perfect blend of mystery and drama that he pulls off so well.

Ghosh was initially supposed to direct Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan's 'King'. However, after his exit and Siddharth Anand taking over the reins as the director, Ghosh has ample time now for his film with Shahid Kapoor.
