Sonu Sood's 'patience dam' broke, made a cryptic post on X

Actor and social worker Sonu Sood has broken his silence on the news of an arrest warrant in a fraud case. Recently it was reported that a Ludhiana court has issued an arrest warrant against Sonu Sood in an alleged fraud case.

This warrant was issued by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. The 51-year-old actor was summoned to testify in the case, but he could not attend the court proceedings. After this, the magistrate issued an arrest warrant.

The court order reads, "Sonu Sood was sent a summons or warrant, but he failed to appear in court. You are ordered to arrest Sonu Sood and produce him in court."

Actor Sonu Sood has broken his silence on the recent reports claiming that an arrest warrant has been issued against him in a fraud case.

The actor took to social media to clarify the situation and called the news "sensational". He said that the matter is being blown out of proportion.

Sonu tweeted, "We need to clarify that the news circulating on social media platforms is highly sensationalized. To put matters straight, we were summoned as a witness by the Honourable Court in a matter pertaining to a third party to which we have no association or affiliation. Our lawyers have responded and on 10th February 2025 we will give a statement that clarifies our non involvement in the matter. We are neither brand ambassadors nor are we associated in any way. This is just for unnecessary media attention to grab eyeballs. It is sad that celebs become soft targets. We will take strict action in this matter."
