Sonu Nigam shared a post concerning Rajasthan government, upset with IIFA for not getting nomination

Sonu Nigam uploaded a message on Instagram. He uploaded a list where the names of the singers nominated for the Best Singer award this time are mentioned. The names are Badshah, Jubin Nautiyal, Diljit Dosanjh, and some others. Sonu Nigam's name is not mentioned. Sonu Nigam has written a caption with the post, 'Thank you IIFA... After all you were answerable to the Rajasthan bureaucracy.'

It is known that this time the Best Singer award was given to Jubin Nautiyal for the song 'Dua'. Sonu Nigam's name is missing from the nomination list, let alone the award. The reason behind this is being linked to an incident in December 2024. Sonu Nigam also attended the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit held in Jaipur in December last year. There, something happened that Sonu Nigam got very angry even then.
