Sham Kaushal shared his experience of filming a challenging scene, said- I have never felt so scared before
Sham Kaushal: Sham Kaushal is a well-known action director in the film industry. He has shown his skills in many films so far. However, he became a little uncomfortable while shooting his son's film.
Action scenes from many movies have been caught on camera by Sham Kaushal so far. He has easily choreographed any scene. On the other hand, he faced numerous challenges when filming a sequence for his son Vicky Kaushal's movie Dunki. According to him, he had never felt so scared before.
Recently, Sham Kaushal spoke about shooting the self-immolation scene of his son for Dunki. Sham says that while he conceives such scenes, he often focuses on the end result only. He also admitted that though generally he shoots such scenes bereft of all conscience, such scenes, more so when it featured his son, at times made him uncomfortable.
Sham Kaushal, while talking about the planning of this impactful fire scene with director Rajkumar Hirani, said he considered first making Vicky's character run through the flames. He took it off later because, out of his perception, that wasn't going to bring out the right emotion.
The action director was tense as the scene was being shot on his son but was still completely committed to capturing the emotions of the scene. Sham shared that it was not just about his son Vicky. He looks at every actor like family.
