She has said- "As a professional actress, I have missed many films and I regret them too. I got an offer for Shah Rukh Khan's film. I came to know about it from him himself because my secretary had full information about it, which he did not tell me. When Shah Rukh took me to the dubbing studio of Chalte Chalte and told me that today your scenes would have been shot here too, if you had not refused to do this movie, then I was shocked and said that but I had no idea about the offer of this film."
She shared in this way an ages-old story of Shah Rukh Khan's Chalte Chalte film. The movie first chose Aishwarya Rai, but finally, this film went to Rani Mukherjee, and the actress of Chalte Chalte became her.
