SC will hear Ranveer Allahbadia's petition on Tuesday, demanding to combine several FIRs registered in many states
Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy: Ranveer Allahbadia had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to combine all the FIRs in the indecent remarks case, which the court will now hear on Tuesday.

The controversy around indecent remarks by Ranveer Allahbadia is far from dissipating. A fresh update on this has appeared now. The Supreme Court will on Tuesday hear YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia's petition, where he has prayed that FIRs filed by numerous states on obscene remarks uttered on his comedy program 'India's Got Latent' should be consolidated. The YouTuber had filed a petition earlier in the Supreme Court praying that FIRs filed on him by numerous states like Maharashtra and Assam should be consolidated.
A bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice N Kotishwar Singh will hear this petition on Tuesday. Ranveer Allahbadia is facing police interrogation and has also been summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW). He also faces the threat of facing a parliamentary committee. In his plea, he had requested the court to club the FIRs filed against him together and also requested anticipatory bail to prevent his arrest by the Guwahati police.
However, Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna rejected his plea for an urgent hearing. On Monday, he did not appear before the NCW and claimed that he was receiving death threats. Ranveer Allahbadia later claimed that he could not attend the meeting due to these threats.
The controversy started after Ranveer's controversial remarks about parents during an episode of India's Got Talent, which led to a fierce reaction online. This particular clip went viral on social media soon after the episode was released on YouTube, leading to massive criticism and condemnation of the show including BeerBiceps and the show's makers, host, and participants. Several authorities have filed an FIR against Ranveer, host Samay Raina, and Apurva Makhija aka The Rebel Kid, Ashish Chanchlani. Apart from him, a total of 42 people have been summoned by the police.
