Sanjay Dutt wanted to marry Saira Banu in childhood, Dilip Kumar's wife told an old story
Sanjay Dutt has turned 65 today. From fans to stars on social media, everyone is wishing him a happy birthday. Late actor Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu has also shared a post on social media wishing Sanjay Dutt a birthday in which she shared a childhood memory related to Sanju Baba.
Sanjay Dutt, who left his mark in Hindi cinema with his acting, is celebrating his 65th birthday on 29th July. On this special occasion, Saira Banu recalled an old anecdote, when Nargis Dutt brought her son Sanjay Dutt to her friend Saira's house and at that time the actor had said something that left everyone stunned.
After the death of Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu remains very active on social media and keeps sharing unheard and funny stories related to cinema with fans. On Sanjay Dutt's birthday on Monday, Saira Banu narrated a funny story from his childhood and said that she and Sharmila Tagore used to be his favorites.
Saira Banu has shared a picture on her Instagram story wishing Sanjay Dutt a happy birthday, in which he is posing with Dilip Kumar. Along with the photo, the veteran actress has also written a long note. She said, "Sanjay Dutt has always been like a family to me. My whole family, from Ammaji to Aapaji, Saheb, we have seen him grow up from a little child to the extraordinary person he is today."
In the note, Saira Banu further said that in childhood Sanjay Dutt wanted to marry her. The actress wrote, "I still remember when Nargis Aapa used to come to our house for functions and she would bring this cute, good-looking kid with her. Nargis ji would say to him, "Chalo, Saira ji ko bolo tum kya bolo ho mujhe?" and then Sanju would look at me and say in a cute voice, "I will marry Saira Bano. Hahaha, so cute."
Saira Bano has showered love on Sanjay Dutt and blessed him a lot. She has also said that she and Sharmila used to be Sanjay Dutt's top favourites.
