This is going to be the first collaboration of director Priyadarshan with actor Saif Ali Khan. In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan confirmed, 'Yes, I am doing the next film with Priyadarshan. I am playing the role of a blind man. Very exciting.' Priyadarshan, mainly known for his comedy films, has decided to enter the thriller genre with this film.
Talking about working with Saif, Priyadarshan said, 'I have always loved Saif's screen presence. I was waiting to do something suitable with him.' The film will be a remake of Priyadarshan's Malayalam classic Oppam, in which Mohanlal played a blind watchman who takes on a serial killer.
Before this thriller, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the Netflix film 'Jewel Thief', starring Jaideep Ahlawat alongside him, which will release on April 25. Saif Ali Khan was last seen in 'Devarah: Part 1' alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. Now, Saif is also going to work in 'Race 4', in which he will be seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
