Rupali Ganguly has been playing a lead role in the serial 'Anupama' for almost five years. This serial depicts common women's issues in its story. This serial gives a message to common women to be independent and strong. Recently in an interview, Rupali Ganguly talked about her experience working in TV serials and the environment here.

In a recent interview given to Zoom, Rupali Ganguly said, 'There can be no other industry like TV. This is a good place. Here you get to work on your ability. I still give auditions. But this industry has given a lot of respect to women. Female actors are treated like queens here.

Rupali Ganguly also praised Shahrukh Khan in the interview. She says, 'Shahrukh Khan has taken a good initiative on the first day of his films by naming the heroine himself. This is a big change. I also come from a film background. My father used to make women-centric films. Now I am also doing a great serial like 'Anupama' on TV.'

Apart from praising TV, Rupali Ganguly also told why she left working in films. She says, 'Many people have faced the casting couch in the film industry. Today women are talking about it, at that time it was not talked about. This was the big reason why I left the film industry. I did not understand so much then, but nowadays women have become quite aware.'
