Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal Promote Love Beyond Boundaries; Present 'TAPS'
The film 'TAPS' is a production by Sudhanshu Saria's Four Line Entertainment, in collaboration with Kashish Arts Foundation and Lotus Visual Production

In the month of love, romance in all its beautiful, boundless forms takes center stage as Bollywood power couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have presented an LGBTQ+ relationship drama 'TAPS' on YouTube. Directed by Arvind Caulagi and produced by National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria, in association with Kashish Film Festival and Lotus Visual Productions, this short film has already made waves at prestigious film festivals and is now set to reach a wider audience. Featuring newcomers Ullas Samrat and Rohit Mehra, the film offers an intimate portrayal of a couple reuniting. For Ali and Richa, who are vocal advocates for inclusivity and impactful storytelling, bringing 'TAPS' to a global platform is a commitment to amplifying voices that need to be heard. The film, which won the Kashish Q View Film Grant, has been praised for its delicate yet powerful depiction of LGBTQ+ relationships.
Richa Chadha stated, "Cinema is powerful because it can change perspectives. 'TAPS' is one of those stories that gently but powerfully unravels layers of identity, love, and self-acceptance. We've had many conversations about representation in media, and being able to support a film that does it right is a privilege. We want people to open their hearts a little more. Watch 'TAPS' with your partner, your friends, with yourself - let it resonate with you, let it stay with you."
Ali Fazal added, "Love has often been painted in broad strokes - roses, candlelight, grand gestures. But love is so much more than that. 'TAPS' portrays something intimate, raw, and real. It reminds us that love isn't just about who we love but how we love - with honesty, courage, and resilience. Richa and I strongly felt that this kind of film needed to be seen by as many people as possible. The fact that we can bring this story to the world - it feels absolutely right."
Producer Sudhanshu Saria said, "TAPS reminded me of the time ten years ago when I was making my first film LOEV. It seemed like a fantastic way to carry forward LOEV's legacy in queer cinema, supporting another story that normalizes queer representation on our screens and talks about everyday issues in relationships, gay or not. I've known Ali since school days, and I'm very proud of the love and authenticity with which Richa and he live their lives. Their collaboration with us in presenting this film feels like a grand celebration."
