Phule Release: The film 'Phule' based on the life of social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule has been postponed just before its release. Know what is the reason behind this and when will the film be released now.

The people were waiting for Pratik Gandhi and Patralekha's movie 'Phule' impatiently. Now, however, there is some shocking news for fans of this movie. Since just ahead of its release, the movie has been postponed. Now this movie won't hit the screens on its planned date of 11 April. One of the key reasons for delaying the release of this movie is said to be the political row surrounding the movie. As a result of this, this movie has now been postponed for two weeks.
'Phule', inspired by the life of social reformer Jyotirao Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule, was initially planned for release on 11 April. But now its makers have clarified that the release date of the film is not 11 April, but rather 25 April. It is not yet known what is the reason behind postponing the film at the last minute. But it is believed that its postponement can be because of the controversy surrounding the film. It depicts the fight of Jyotirao Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule against caste and gender discrimination.
Some Brahmin communities have raised objections to the film. They say that the film tries to defame the Brahmins. It also promotes casteism. The Brahmin communities also said that the help of the black Brahmin community should be shown in the film. They say that the story of the film seems one-sided, whereas it should be inclusive.
However, the makers described it as a victim of misunderstanding. The makers also talked to the Maharashtra government about this. Later, the censor board i.e. CBFC asked the makers to make changes in the film. The censor board asked to remove the voiceover discussing the caste system from the film. They also demanded the removal of words like 'Mahar', 'Mang', 'Peshwai' and 'Manus system of caste', which are considered sensitive.
