Rapper Offset, known for hits like "Jealousy," has brought a wave of excitement to his fans by revealing the title and release date of his highly anticipated sophomore solo album, 'Set It Off.' This forthcoming album, which includes a collaboration with Travis Scott, is set to drop on October 13, promising a musical extravaganza for listeners.
Offset took to his social media platform, X, to share the album's cover art and announce that the project's lead single, "Fan," will be released along with a music video on the upcoming Saturday. In addition to this exciting news, he also mentioned that the album will feature the previously teased track, "They Can't Be Too Upset," which he had previewed earlier this year on Instagram.
In his announcement, Offset wrote, "SET IT OFF - The Album 10/13 Presave link https://offset.lnk.to/SetItOff." Music enthusiasts couldn't contain their enthusiasm, with one social media user praising the album cover as "fire," while others described it as "phenomenal" and expressed their eagerness to hear the music.
'Set It Off' marks Offset's first solo release since his 2019 album, 'Father of 4.' Prior to that, he collaborated with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin for the full-length project 'Without Warning' in 2017, as reported by Variety.
In a recent interview earlier this year, Offset emphasized his commitment to his solo career, stating, "This is me going full-fledged into my solo career. The objective is to do it fully and smash shit and f*** the game up as a solo artist. I'm coming through, bustin' through the door. It's all set, my next chapter. It's my time." This declaration has left fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming release and what Offset has in store for his next musical chapter.
