Rani Mukerji will return as 'Mardaani' again, 'Mardaani 3' will be released in February next year

The makers have released both Rani Mukerji's first look from 'Mardaani 3' and the release date of the film. After which, now the fans would be excited once again to see Rani Mukerji playing the powerful role of Shivani Shivaji Roy. 

Rani Mukerji is once again ready to rule on box office as the fierce and brave police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. Today, the makers of the film announced the first look and release date of Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani 3' on Instagram. In the first look shared by the maker of the film, Yash Raj Films, Rani Mukerji created a very serious look wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, holding a gun in their hands. Sharing this picture, YRF wrote in the caption, "The countdown begins for #Mardaani3! On Holi, good will fight evil as Shivani Shivaji Roy returns to the big screen on February 27, 2026." The festival of Holi is going to be on March 4 in the year 2026. Before this, on Friday, i.e., 27 February, Rani Mukerji will once again enter the theaters as Shivani Shivaji Roy.

'Mardaani 3' is the third installment of Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani', released in 2014. Earlier in 2019, 'Mardaani 2' was released in theaters. Both the previous films received positive responses from the audience and critics, and these films also received positive responses at the box office. Now the makers are expecting the same from 'Mardaani 3' once again.

Shivani Shivaji Roy's journey started in the year 2014. When the film 'Mardaani' was released in theaters. Rani Mukherjee was seen in such a character for the first time. The film received a good response from the people. 'Mardaani' did a total business of 48.11 crores in India. Which was much more than its budget.

Almost five years after 'Mardaani', the next part of the film was released in the name of 'Mardaani 2'. In this, Rani Mukherjee was once again seen in the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy.
