While popularity has a lot of benefits, a big drawback is the possibility of being judged by your fans, says producer-actress Arushi Nishank. Arushi, who is known for her music videos Teri Galliyon Se, Wafa Na Raas Aayee, and Jo Tumko Jhooth Lage, as well as film Tarini and recent web series which she produced Life Hill Gayi on Disney+ Hotstar, says that her journey has been full of ups and downs.

“It's a rollercoaster ride, for sure! Having a career where every success and setback is open to public scrutiny can be intimidating, but it also comes with a sense of purpose. When your work resonates with people, it’s incredibly fulfilling. The misses provide valuable lessons and drive growth, while the hits affirm that we’re on the right path. It’s all part of a journey that I’m passionate about and grateful to be on,” she says.

Ask her how she deals with failure, and she says, “Failure is never easy, but I've come to see it as an essential part of growth. I allow myself to feel all the emotions that come with it. I also believe that I have been fortunate enough that the work I've done so far has always been appreciated. At the same time, I believe in the power of vulnerability, Sharing the experiences can only help others realize they’re not alone in facing setbacks. I don't take success to my head nor do I let failure define me.”

Meanwhile, she adds that she has a lot more to achieve in her career. “I believe I have just started out and there is a lot to achieve before I stop. So for me my journey would be ever evolving.  I've had the joy of experiencing great successes, but I've also faced my share of challenges. Being a new producer I would say has been quite a challenge for me. It was a completely new venture and a steep learning curve for me. The fire to not only prove myself to others but to bring the creative vision to life has been a rewarding one. With the show Life Hill Gayi doing so well and making waves for itself, it is a true testament to its success. Now that I look back at the experience, these tough times have made me confident and I am ready to take on more exciting challenges,” she says.
