Poster look released of Chandan Roy Sanyal in 'Binodini', will play the role of Ramakrishna

The first poster of the National Award-winning filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee's directed film 'Binodini' was released at Binodini Theatre where actors and other crew members were present. The poster shows Chandan Roy Sanyal as Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa. This film is a joint production of Pramod Films and Dev Entertainment Ventures.

Binodini' is a film based on the inspirational story of a young girl from North Kolkata's red-light area, who cherished a dream to become a theater artist. She had to face all difficulties in her life and, one day, she came into the light with recognition as Binodini. Later, this name became the biggest name in Bengali theater. But the shadow of this girl's past kept on trying to diminish her success.

In the film 'Binodini', director Ram Kamal Mukherjee has brought Binodini's story to life. This film tells a lot about the theatre culture of 19th-century Bengal. Dev Entertainment Ventures took up the responsibility of telling the story. Making a film on the life of theatre legend Binodini Dasi is a big task. Dev of Dev Entertainment Ventures says, 'It was a great experience working with such a great team. We have made the film with all our heart and now we are waiting for its release at the end of this month.'

For the film 'Binodini', director Ram Kamal Mukherjee says, "The film is dedicated to the braveness of women who face a lot of challenges so that they can make their dreams come true. Adding Chandan Roy Sanyal as Ramakrishna Paramhansa as the story has gone intense. It was excellent to work with Rukmini for the first time on this particular project.

Meanwhile, actor Chandan Roy Sanyal is equally thrilled about essaying the role of Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa. He shares, 'The biggest challenge for me was to enact the role of Shri Ramakrishna. But I feel that this character is a gift from god for me. God chose me to play this role and he took full care of it'.

Great actors in the film 'Binodini' include Rahul Bose, Kaushik Ganguly, Mir, Chandrey Ghosh, and Om Sahni. The story and dialogues of the film have been given by Priyanka Poddar. Abra Chakraborty has done the research work. DOP is Soumik Haldar and the music has been composed by Sourendro Somyojit. Tanmay Chakraborty has done the art direction. The editor of the film is Pranoyo Dasgupta.
