Munawar's show 'Hafta Vasooli' may be in trouble, FIR register
Munawar Faruqui: Stand-up comedian and 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui's show 'Hafta Vasooli' seems to be in trouble. Advocate Amita Sachdeva has claimed to have requested to register a complaint against Munawar's show, accusing it of violating cultural values.

After Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina, now a stand-up comedian and 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui also seems to be in trouble. A complaint has been filed against his show 'Hafta Vasooli'. Advocate Amita Sachdeva claims that she has complained against Munawar for violating cultural values. She has demanded to ban Munawar's show, accusing it of hurting religious sentiments and promoting obscenity.
Advocate Amita Sachdeva's complaint has requested an FIR under the IT Act and other relevant sections for "insulting several religions, violating cultural values and polluting young minds and society" on the show.
Earlier, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had demanded a ban on Munawar's show 'Hafta Vasooli'. In a tweet on Twitter, he wrote, "We demand an immediate ban on 'Hafta Vasooli' airing on Jio Hotstar! In this show, Munawar uses abusive language, which is unacceptable for public viewing. It will sink moral values. Streaming platforms should act responsibly!"
'Hafta Vasooli' is a newsroom comedy show, which presents trading, political and cultural events in an entertaining way. The first episode of the show aired on February 14, in which Sharib Hashmi and Vivian Dsena appeared as guests. While Saqib Saleem appeared in the second episode.
