Recently, 'Bigg Boss 17' fame and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui shared the emotional story of his son fighting with 'Kawasaki' disease. Munawar said that his son was just one and a half years old when he came to know about this disease. Recalling his difficult time, the comedian shared that he did not have money for the treatment of his son. His son needed an injection, which cost 25 thousand rupees and he had only 700 rupees in his pocket.
He said in a conversation on Janice Sequeira's YouTube channel that after knowing this, he was in shock for quite a long time. He described the moment, saying, "I was completely shocked and it was a really tough moment for me." Then, with no other option, he had to take loans from others. "I had to give up my pride and ask for help, which was really tough for me," he added. Munawar managed to gather the money and gave it back in three hours but did not leave the memory.
Munawar further shared how he had collected money during that worse time. He said, "I went to Mumbai Central, collected the money, and returned within three hours. Though I was relieved, I couldn't smile, because it wasn't my money." Further, the comedian added, "After that day, I decided that I would never be financially short again."
Munawar got married to Mahjabeen Kotwala recently. He has often been speaking about his personal life at many platforms, including having a six-year-old son Mikail from his previous marriage with Jasmin. The comedian first spoke about his son on Kangana Ranaut's TV reality show Lock Up and often shares pictures with him on social media.
