Sunny Deol also talked about the bonding of Dharmendra and Manoj Kumar during the promotion of his upcoming film 'Jaat'. The actor said, 'Both of them were together in the industry. He (Manoj Kumar) has always been like a father to us and since childhood, I have seen him with my father. My father had a very deep connection with him. All I will say is that the films he did were about India and were very lovely. That's when the patriotism started'.

The actor narrated an interesting anecdote related to Manoj Kumar. Sunny Deol said 'Papa was telling me that when he was with Manoj ji in the early days, he was struggling. There was no money in the pocket'. He further said, 'When Manoj ji had some money and he used to go to buy clothes, he used to say to my papa, 'Aa lele Dharam, tu vi lele do kameez'. So, they had a very beautiful relationship and I think that time was very good, that time cannot come back'.
