Malayalam actor Dileep Shankar was found dead in hotel room

There is a bad news for the fans of Malayalam actor Dileep Shankar. He was found dead in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday morning. According to reports, the actor, who starred in films like 'Chappa Kurishu' and 'North 24 Katham', had checked in at the hotel two days before his death.

According to the report, the hotel staff opened the door and there was a foul smell coming out of the room. The actor was found lying on the floor of the hotel room, following which an immediate investigation into his sudden death started. Initial reports suggest no signs of conspiracy in Shankar's death.

Shankar's sudden death sent shock waves across the Malayalam entertainment segment. The actor was last seen playing Chandrasenan in the serial 'Panchagni' and had recently won appreciation as Peter in 'Ammayariyathe'. His 'Panchagni' co-star Seema G Nair expressed her sadness through social media. She wrote in her note, 'You called me five days ago but I couldn't talk to you properly then'.

According to a media report, the 'Panchagni' director said that Shankar was suffering from a serious illness and was undergoing treatment. However, the details of the illness are still unknown. The police have started investigating the actor's sudden demise. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained by the authorities.
