Finally, the Hollywood animated film 'Mufasa' has been released in the theaters. Its Telugu version is being well-liked in theaters as Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has dubbed the film. Many funny videos from theaters are going viral on the internet, one of which is of a fan who brought his cat to the theater. Not only this, the fan is also seen recreating the Simba scene while waiting in the queue outside the theater in Vijayawada.

In the viral video, the fans of Mahesh Babu can be seen dancing to the song of the recently released film Mufasa outside the theatre. The fans were celebrating the movie as one of them lifted his cat in the air, exactly like Rafiki holding Simba in the movie Lion King. One such video was shared by a fan on Instagram with the caption, "Bejawada Mass".

With Mufasa: The Lion King, the movie has emerged as the second-biggest live-action opener in India. The first position remains with the 2019 release of The Lion King, which raked over Rs 11 crore on day one and over Rs 158 crore in all. Other than this, Mufasa: The Lion King is the second-biggest Hollywood opener in India after Deadpool and Wolverine.

The story of Mufasa is being liked a lot by the Indian audience. This is the reason why the film had a good opening on the first day despite South and Bollywood films like 'Pushpa 2' and 'Vanvas'. Mufasa earned Rs 8.8 crore in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in India on the first day. On the second day, the film has earned Rs 13.72 crore. The total collection of the film has reached Rs 22.52 crores.
