KBC 16: Amitabh Bachchan promises to build a toilet in the contestant's house at his own expense, wins hearts with generosity

Amitabh Bachchan has recently returned as the host of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' aka 'KBC 16'. He is already winning hearts with his gestures. In the new episode of the show, Big B has promised to help a contestant in achieving one of his goals. Amitabh Bachchan promised that the contestant will get toilet and bathroom facilities. The actor said that he will ensure that a washroom is built in contestant Jayant Dule's house.

When Amitabh Bachchan came to know that Jayant Dule was also troubled due to lack of private toilet facilities like his villagers, he promised to help. He said that he would get a toilet built for Jayant so that the villagers develop hygiene habits. 25-year-old Jayant is a student as well as a part-time teacher at Dule Agai. He came on the show to build a toilet for his mother and sister to take a bath.

The women from that village presently have a public pond, and hence all the village people are using it along with the animals. On top of that, Jayant felt especially mortified for his sister, who is forced to take baths in the public pond because of her poor financial condition. While talking about the condition of his mother and sister, Jayant also talked about the cleanliness he wanted in his village and how he would like to contribute to it in whatever way possible.

Amitabh Bachchan was stunned to hear the contestant and also came forward to help. Big B discussed Jayant's budget and offered Rs 50,000 to build a washroom. He promised that no matter how much money Jayant wins, the money to build the washroom shall be the host's responsibility. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' now streaming on Sony Liv.
