Amitabh Bachchan, the renowned actor of Bollywood has drawn a huge line in Hindi cinema with his acting. He is admired and loved a lot by people due to his fabulous acting talent. Currently, he is hosting the show "KBC 16". He recently has spoken openly on his parents' intercaste marriage. Not only this, the actor has also described himself as half Sikh. Let's know what Big B has said.

In KBC 16's recent episode, Amitabh said, "I find it a bit strange to call it intercaste. My father was from Uttar Pradesh and my mother was from a Sikh family. I believe I am half Sardar. When I was born, my aunt used to say, 'Kinna Sona Puttar Hai, Sadda Amitabh Singh."

Meanwhile, in 1989, Jaya Bachchan's father Tarun Kumar Bhaduri narrated the marriage tale of Amitabh and Jaya in the Illustrated Weekly of India. He said that Amitabh called him to Mumbai, but then he did not understand why such happened instantly. His wife informed him that Amitabh and Jaya decided to get married. Then the wedding was arranged in a rush with complete secrecy.

Jaya's father had written, "Now there is no point in giving full details of how the whole matter was kept secret and the marriage was fixed in the Malabar Hill flat of our family friends, Pandits. But there is more to it." However, his wife wanted this marriage to be according to Bengali traditions. "Bengali weddings are usually a long-drawn-out but extremely interesting affair. Amit completed all the rituals, didn't offend anyone and the celebrations went on till the next morning," he wrote.
