Kamal Haasan, an established actor, revealed that Shah Rukh Khan did not demand payment for his part in the movie "Hey Ram." Haasan expressed his appreciation for Shah Rukh's commitment to acting and the arts as well. The film 'Hey Ram' was written, directed, and produced by Kamal Haasan. Hey Ram is a period drama that stars both Kamal and Shah Rukh in lead roles.

In the Tamil-Hindi movie, they played friends Saket Ram and Amjad Ali Khan, respectively. At the trailer launch of his upcoming movie, 'Indian 2', Kamal said that titles like 'star' or 'superstar' don't matter while working on a film. "When we work together, we are all just people. I don't see a superstar. He doesn't see a super director. We are friends. Shah Rukh Sahib made that film for free. That cannot be done by a superstar. That can only be done by a fan. A connoisseur of art and a good actor. I'm ever thankful to him.

Later on, you give us those titles, and we very shyly accept them," Kamal said at the trailer launch. On the professional front, Kamal Haasan will next be seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Indian 2'.

Nag Ashwin is the director of the dystopian film "Kalki 2898 AD." Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and other actors make up the ensemble cast of the movie.
"Indian 2" is Kamal's sequel to the well-received 1996 film "Indian," which also featured him in a dual character and Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, and Kasthuri Shankar. Shankar directed the original picture and will return to helm the sequel's July 12 debut.

SJ Suryah, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kamal are not the only important players in the follow-up. Produced by Lyca Productions, led by Subaskaran Allirajah, and Red Giant Movies, led by Udhayanidhi Stalin.
