After its release, the movie was connected with a lot of controversies like manupulation with boxoffice numbers, but besides that Alia Bhatt's performance attracted public interest, because she had a different role in this film from her past typical roles. Alia Bhatt played role of a determined and responsible sister, and the well-known vocalist Vedang Raina contributed a fresh and unique touch to the iconic song "Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka."
