Actress Jacqueline Fernandez will not be able to perform at the IPL ceremony in Guwahati on Wednesday as her mother is not feeling well. The actress' mother Kim Fernandez was recently admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.
According to ANI, a source close to the actress said, "Jacqueline's mother is still in the ICU and is undergoing treatment. The family is awaiting further information from the doctors. In this challenging time, Jacqueline has chosen to be with her mother and unfortunately, she will not be able to perform at the IPL ceremony." However, more information about the health of the actress's mother is not yet available.
According to reports, Jacqueline has put all her professional work on hold due to her mother's health. The actress was scheduled to perform ahead of the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Guwahati on Wednesday.
On the work front, the actress was last seen on screen opposite Sonu Sood in 'Fateh', which marks the actor's directorial debut. The film is an action-packed thriller inspired by real-life cybercrime incidents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from this, Jacqueline will also be seen in 'Housefull 5' and 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
