In Chandigarh, Diljit Dosanjh is going to perform on 14 December. He is recently going to cities and doing concerts. This is called the Dil-Luminati India Tour. But this tour is also having objections from the government side. The government is showing issues with the songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence. Before the concert in Chandigarh, he had already received advisory from the Chandigarh Child Rights Protection Commission that he can not sing the songs that promote alcohol and also can not call children on stage to meet.
Recently, in Indore and Hyderabad, he also faced the same conditions from the government. But he twisted the words and sang the songs, but now in Chandigarh, he cannot sing the songs like Patiala Peg, 5 Taara Theke, and Case even after twisting the words. Because these types of songs influence the teenagers. And the second thing is that he cannot call the children on stage because the sound level on stage is very high; that could be harmful to children. There was one more thing mentioned: that the teenagers below 25 years of age should not be served alcohol.
Beyond all the things, Diljit has a very special space in his audience's heart because despite the fact that the prices of tickets are in lakhs, people buy the tickets and go to the concert. Diljit is in the headlines not only because of his live concerts but also because of the controversies connected to the concerts. He had said many things indirectly to the government, replying to their advisories. By the way, he hasn't replied to the advisory issued by the Chandigarh Child Protection Commission yet.
