Many Bollywood stars are often in the headlines for their fitness and body, but sometimes a bitter truth is also hidden behind this fitness. One such shocking revelation has been made recently by actor Imran Khan. The actor recently revealed in an interview that he had resorted to steroids to get his macho look. However, he regrets this today, because it did not prove beneficial.

Imran Khan, while discussing the pressure to look masculine, said on the YouTube channel We Are Yuva, "In the last 2010-20 years, it has started becoming a cause of pressure for men as well. Especially after the superhero genre came and Hrithik was a supporter of it. Even in the 90s, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were massive masculine dudes. When you see it more and more, you start feeling the pressure and say to yourself, 'I should also look like this.' Social media has also increased it further."

Imran Khan had increased his weight for the film Kidnap. Imran also revealed that he took the help of steroids to fit into the famous masculine image in Bollywood. Imran Khan said, "For a long time, I tried to be according to it, but I am not built like Captain America, I do not have a body like Thor. I tried my best. I took everything. I also resorted to steroids, but it is not sustainable."

Imran Khan quit Bollywood after his Kangana Ranaut starrer Katti Batti flopped at the box office. In a conversation with Film Companion, Imran revealed that he quit films when he couldn't feel connected to them. He said, "Being an actor is not my job. I can be an actor if I want to. If I don't want these things, I can't be an actor. It was optional. Fixing yourself is not optional."
