Helping animals proved costly for actor Mridul Das's mother; Gangster threatened her

Very few people extend a helping hand to mute animals, and the world appreciates them. But an actor's mother is receiving threats from the local goons for such noble work. The actor is none other than Mridul Das. He shared this information via a social media post. The actor appealed to the police for help and mentioned that the situation had gone out of management.

Actor Mridul Das has complained that some local goons are threatening his mother. His mother feeds and looks after around 30 dogs and cats in the street. Because of this, she is being harassed. The actor says that some mute animals have gone missing too. Now the question is about the safety of his mother.

Mridul Das has shared a post on Instagram. Tagging Mumbai Police in this, he wrote, 'Respected Sir, a group of some local goons are threatening my mother. Also, the street dogs, whom my mother feeds daily, are also being attacked. Today, the goons have threatened my mother not to go out of the house. Their such acts are increasing continuously. Allegedly they are all drunk on alcohol and drugs. This has made the situation even more worrying'.

The actor further wrote, 'My mother lives alone... I often stay out for work. We have no other known family around us. And now the situation is becoming unbearable. Mridul has also claimed while seeking help from the police that many dogs and other mute animals have disappeared from the area. He wrote, 'My mother lives alone. I try to be there to help her, but I often have to go out for work. Although the residents of the building stand in solidarity, they are afraid to take any action. I request you to intervene in this matter to ensure my mother's safety and to protect the mute animals as well.
