Many artists who entered the film industry based on their ability could not stay for long. Among the list of these artists, one of the renowned names is former Miss World Yukta Mookhey, who is living a life of anonymity today.
Yukta was born on 7 October 1977 in Bangalore and in 1999, she won the title of Miss India. She even won the title of Miss World, which was no less than creating history, however today she is far away from the eyes of cameras.
This 6.1-inch tall actress, therefore, failed to reach a position in the industry where she wanted to be. Yukta started her big screen journey in the year 2002 with the film 'Pyaasa'. Many actresses of the industry are there whose film career came to an end after marriage. Similarly, Yukta Mookhey too decided not to work after marriage. Also, the reports came that she could not make it to Bollywood because of her height.
This former Miss World married a big New York-based businessman, Prince Tuli, in 2008, which again did not last long. In front of media, she accused her spouse for dowry harassment and unnatural sex. She said, "My husband beats her like an animal." Yukta Mookhey finally divorced her husband after a very long legal battle, by the year 2014.
Talking about the film career, the first film of Yukta 'Pyaasa' did not do so much wonder at the box office. Further, she signed 'Kab Kyon Kaha and 'Hum Teeno' in 2003 but remained incomplete. Yukta Mookhey was last seen in the film Good News that was released in the year 2019.
