Actually, Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded by two assailants during the daytime in Udaipur in June 2022. The assailants then shared a video taking responsibility for the murder as revenge for sharing on social media support for Nupur Sharma. Sharma, who was then the former spokesperson of the BJP, had sparked outrage by making comments about Prophet Muhammad, and mass protests had ensued.
