FIR against 6 people, police case of Comedian Sunil Pal abduction transferred from Mumbai to UP

Comedian Sunil Pal is famous for his comic timing is also highly appreciated in films. These days the actor and comedian is in the headlines for the kidnapping case. Sunil Pal recently lodged a case against unknown people in Mumbai Police. Now a big update related to this has come to the fore.
After the complaint of comedian Sunil Pal at Santacruz Police Station, a case of kidnapping and extortion was registered. After this, now Mumbai Police took action and handed over the case to UP Police. According to a PTI report, an officer from Santacruz police station informed that the comedian's case has been transferred to Lal Kurti police station in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, Sunil Pal has claimed in his complaint that he was left at the same place by the kidnappers.
On Pal's complaint, Mumbai Police registered an FIR against 5-6 unknown people. The case has been registered under sections 138, 140(2), 308(2), 308(5) and 3(5). The case has been transferred to Uttar Pradesh Police for further investigation at present times.
In the complaint given to the police, Sunil, the comedian told the police that he went for a show in Uttarakhand and was kidnapped while being there. Actually, when the actor-comedian stopped on the way to eat food, then a person posing as a fan came to him and forcibly made him sit in the car. The kidnapper had demanded Rs 20 lakh but Sunil collected Rs 8 lakh with the help of his friends. After this, he was left on a road in Meerut. He reached Delhi airport and boarded a flight to Mumbai from there.
The police officer said that his wife had also lodged a complaint about his going missing. Presently, the investigation is on and no arrest has been made yet.
