Film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' director reveals that someone else narrated the script to Preity Zinta

Film director Nikhil Advani started his career in the film industry with the film 'Kal Ho Na Ho'. This was his first film as a director. He revealed that neither Karan Johar narrated this film to Preity Zinta nor he himself. Director Nikhil Advani said that Hrithik Roshan narrated this film to Preity Zinta, during this time both of them were shooting for 'Koi Mil Gaya'.

In a conversation with Mirchi Plus, Nikhil Advani said, "We were not even present there", he further said that Shahrukh Khan or Karan Johar called Preity and told her that Hrithik had heard the script. He asked the actress if she was ready to listen to it and Advani said, "The film had its own destiny."

Nikhil Advani also talked about 'Kal Ho Na Ho' producer Yash Johar. He said that he went to Toronto for nine days to shoot the film, but he was depressed. In such a situation, when Yash Johar saw him, he asked the reason for this. To this, he said that he was not happy with the shooting of the film. After hearing this, Yash Johar sent him to New York.

In the story of this film, Aman alias Shahrukh Khan teaches ways of living life and love to Naina or Preity Zinta. It ends with the revelation that Aman is suffering from a disease and will die soon.
