She was a British actress who was popular with the British dramas 'Upstairs' and 'Downstairs', from which she got the role of maid Mrs. Buck. Jean Marsh was also a co-producer of this series. Jean Marsh was awarded an Emmy Award for Best Lead Actress in 1975 for her exceptional performance in a drama series. This series, which was based on 68 episodes, was spread over a period of four years.

Known for her brilliant role, actress Jean Marsh did great work in film, television and theater. She starred in Ron Howard's fantasy motion film 'Willow' and appeared in 'Alfred Hitchcock'.
