She was a British actress who was popular with the British dramas 'Upstairs' and 'Downstairs', from which she got the role of maid Mrs. Buck. Jean Marsh was also a co-producer of this series. Jean Marsh was awarded an Emmy Award for Best Lead Actress in 1975 for her exceptional performance in a drama series. This series, which was based on 68 episodes, was spread over a period of four years.
