Raveena's daughter Rasha Thadani's debut film 'Azaad' was also streamed on OTT. Where the film is also well-liked. But this film, which hit theaters, was unable to perform any magic at the box office. Now director of 'Azaad' film Abhishek Kapoor is delighted with the reaction to the film on OTT. Appreciating the positive response of the public, on social media, Abhishek Kapoor has shared a sweet note.

Sharing a picture related to the set of the film on his Instagram, Abhishek Kapoor has written a long note expressing gratitude for the reactions of the people. In his note, he recalled the shooting days, the reactions after the film's OTT release, and everything in between. Sharing a picture of himself wearing a T-shirt with Azaad written on it and the horse who plays Azaad in the film, Abhishek wrote, "I remember this day on set. The heat, the dust, the stillness between shots, and the weight of the story we were trying to tell. There was so much riding on Azaad. Not just a film, but a vision we all poured ourselves into. Ever since Azaad released on @netflix_in, the love has come in waves. The response has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Messages from people I haven’t spoken to in years, calls from friends who watched it with their families, strangers pouring their hearts out in DMs and stories, sharing how the film moved them, stayed with them, reminded them of something they had forgotten. It has been humbling. Emotional. And honestly, a little difficult to put into words. To know that Azaad has found its way to people like this, beyond screens, beyond noise, into hearts, into homes, into conversations. That is everything we could have hoped for. Thank you for receiving it with so much love. For feeling it, holding it close, and letting it be yours. The ride continues.”

The film starring Ajay Devgn, Rasha Thadani, and Aman Devgn was released in theatres in January this year. The story of the film is primarily based on a horse named ‘Azaad’. The film depicts the story of British rule and the oppression of the villagers by the landlords and their rebellion against them.
