Chunky Panday recently revealed that he buys clothes from the women's section. The reason for this is that his mother kept him like a daughter in childhood. According to Chunky Panday, in childhood, his mother used to dress him like a girl. This thing affected him. During an interview with Mashable India, Chunky Panday said that when he was about to be born, his parents were preparing to welcome a daughter into the house.

The actor said, 'His parents wanted a daughter to be born. They had made preparations accordingly. They were not ready for the birth of a son. Mother had already bought girls' clothes. But, I was born at home. In such a situation, I was made to wear the clothes already bought'. According to Chunky Panday, in his childhood photos, he is seen wearing a frock. Wearing a frock, bindi, and small earrings, he looks like a baby girl. The actor jokingly said that about two years after birth, he looked like a boy.

Chunky Panday said that the impact of the upbringing of the first four years is always there. And this was the time in his life too when he fell in love with girls' clothes. This attachment still remains and that is why he buys clothes from the women's section. The actor said that when he asks the price of the clothes, the shopkeepers often assume that he is buying it for someone else and say, 'This is for women'. Chunky Panday said that his daughter Ananya also often uses the clothes he buys. Many times she keeps those clothes for herself and does not even return them.
