Web series 'Gandi Baat' on OTT platform ALT Balaji has put Ekta Kapoor in serious trouble. A complaint has been made against Ekta Kapoor and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, following the display of obscene scenes of minor girls in the 6 season of this show. The POCSO Act has been used to register a case against them.

A Mumbai resident filed a complaint against Ekta Kapoor, the former producer of Alt Balaji, and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, under the POCSO Act. It states that obscene scenes of minor girls are included in this series, which was broadcast on Alt Balaji from February to April of 2021. Nevertheless, this controversial episode isn't available for streaming on this app right now. Bold scenes are frequently shown in the erotic series "Gandi Baat." It's no longer available for viewing on the app because of the controversy surrounding this series ever since it was streamed.

Ekta Kapoor is also accused of insulting saints and great men by utilizing their advertising for cigarettes in the case. A few of the series' scenes also break POCSO regulations. Other laws that have been deemed to have been broken include the Women Prohibition Act of 1986, the Cigarettes-Other Tobacco Products Act of 2003, and the Information Technology Act of 2000. But as of right moment, neither Ekta Kapoor nor her mother Shobha have spoken on this issue.
