Min Yoongi aka Suga of the South Korean pop band BTS is once again in the headlines. Actually, he was accused of driving an electric scooter while drunk. The police had registered a case against him for driving while intoxicated. Now he has apologized for his action. On Wednesday, Suga said sorry to his fans.
Suga shared a post on the online fans community platform Weverse, which read, “Last night I drank alcohol while eating and returned home riding an electric scooter. I thought my house was nearby, but was unaware of the fact that you cannot ride an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol so I violated the Road Traffic Act.
He further said, "I fell down while parking the electric scooter in front of the gate of my house and a person present there came to me who was a policeman. When he checked me and found out that I was drunk, I was fined and my license was revoked."
A driver's license is required to drive an electric scooter in South Korea. Suga further said that no one was injured and there was no damage, but he wanted to apologize. I apologize to everyone who has been hurt by my careless and wrong behavior and I will pay more attention to my actions so that such things do not happen in the future."
