Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma talked about how she brought a disciplined routine into her life and credited this to her parents and her army background. Recently, Anushka was spotted at an event in Mumbai. During a conversation with the media, one could hear her talk about sustaining discipline in life.

Anushka, the daughter of army officer Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, says, "I think one thing that my parents did very naturally and I think because I am from an army background, we led a very disciplined life. For example, if we used to throw a lot of tantrums at the dinner table and wouldn't want to eat something, our dad wouldn't yell at us, he would say, 'Please go away but when you are hungry this is what you will eat'.".

Anushka further said, "I think these things are important. We used to value what our parents did for us. It has really taught me to appreciate things a lot." Bollywood actress Anushka made her acting debut in 2008 with the romantic film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and gained fame with her acting in Yash Raj Films' romance film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

Besides, Anushka did films like 'Badmash Company', 'Patiala House', 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl', 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola', PK, NH 10, Bombay Velvet, and Dil Dhadakne Do. Then, she did films like 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', 'Sultan', 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', 'Sanju', and 'Sui Dhaaga'.

Anushka was last seen in the 2018 comedy-drama 'Zero', written by Himanshu Sharma, directed by Anand L Rai and produced by Colour Yellow Productions in association with Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan along with Katrina Kaif essayed the leading roles in the film.

She produced the period horror 'Bulbul' written and directed by Anvita Dutt. The film stars Tripati Dimri in the title role with an ensemble cast of Avinash Tiwari, Paoli Dam, Rahul Bose, and Parambrata Chattopadhyay.

Her upcoming film is 'Chakda Express', a biographical sports drama by Abhishek Banerjee, directed by Prosit Roy. The film stars Anushka, Divyendu Bhattacharya, Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Kaushik Sen, and Mahesh Thakur.
