Ashutosh Rana, the popular actor from the world of cinema who is regarded as the uncle of actor Vicky Kaushal in the movie 'Chhaava,' gave his views about Ramayana. In his interview with the Free Press Journal, Ashutosh also gave his view about the conduct and dignity of Lord Ram.
Ashutosh Rana spoke about Ramayana as follows: there have been changes in the ages, and there have been changes in the kings and the civilizations under them. And there have been changes in political regimes as well. But even today when the question is raised about the vision of the ideal society, the culture, and the ideals of life, we turn back to the word Ramrajya, but Krishnarajya, Shivraj, Buddharajya.
In this conversation, the actor said about Ram, "His moral rules were very special. That is why we should not only hold the feet of Lord Ram ji, but we should also hold his conduct." Ashutosh Rana also talked about Ravana and his intelligence. He said that Ravana is a person with an intelligent, devotee and knowledgeable character. He said, 'I have played the character of Ravana, his beauty and specialty are based on the idea that if Ram is Param Brahma, God, and Truth, then when a person comes in his energy field, he will also become Ramamay. So despite being Ravana, Ravana should not be seen, this is the specialty. Because by living with the enemy, you will become like the enemy.'
Talking about the work front, Ashutosh Rana was seen in the role of Sarlashkar Hambirrao Mohite in the recently released 'Chava'. Earlier, he was seen in the OTT series Murder in Mahim released in the year 2024.
