Arjun Kapoor: Arjun Kapoor recently praised Vikrant Massey and called him a better actor than himself. Arjun said that Vikrant is better than me in dubbing and he also acted very effectively in the film Half Girlfriend.
Recently, Arjun Kapoor talked openly about his 2017 film Half Girlfriend. He revealed many secrets about his performance in the film. In an interview, Arjun said that he was not completely satisfied with his performance. He said the reason behind this was the dubbing process. According to the actor, the authenticity of his original dialogue delivery was lost due to dubbing.
Arjun said, "I should not have dubbed for Half Girlfriend. I think I did a good job on the set, but unfortunately, I had to dub. I am not particularly fond of dubbing because it reduces the honesty of the moment. In this generation, we don't dub much. This was not my worst performance, but if I look at it as a critic, I wish I could have maintained that dialogue properly."
Praising his co-star Vikrant Massey, Arjun said, "Vikrant is better at dubbing than me. He was a better actor than me in the film as well. I had to act in a more popular way, but in dubbing, I could not do the dialogue properly which I did on the set. It was a small learning experience for me." The film Half Girlfriend was released in 2017.
The director of the film is Mohit Suri and the movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. Arjun Kapoor played the character of Madhav Jha in the film, whereas, Shraddha Kapoor was seen in the role of Riya Somani.
Recently, Arjun Kapoor was seen in the role of a villain in Rohit Shetty's film Singham Again. However, this film also could not give a new direction to his career. This film proved to be a flop at the box office.
