Arijit Singh's voice will not be used by AI platforms, singer gets relief from Bombay High Court

But in the age of artificial intelligence, his voice is being misused. In this case, he has got a big relief from the Bombay High Court.
Giving relief to Arijit Singh, the Bombay High Court has said that AI tools will not be able to use the voice or image of any celebrity without their consent. If this happens, then it violates his personality rights.
In fact, Arijit Singh had filed a petition that AI platforms make voice recordings of his voice by imitating his voice, mannerisms and other things. Editing is done in this, which is done with the help of AI tools. Hearing the case, on July 26, Justice RI Chhagla in his interim order banned eight online platforms from using the personality rights of Arijit Singh. He also directed to remove all such content and voice tools.
Arijit's lawyer Hiren Kamod said that the singer has not done any kind of brand endorsement for the last several years. The court also agreed that the singer should get interim bail. The judge said, "What bothers the court is that celebrities are targeted by unauthorized AI content.
