Amitabh Bachchan used to party with friends all night, Jaya Bachchan used to get upset at home
During the shooting of Satte Pe Satta, Amitabh Bachchan made many friends on the set. Sachin Pilgaonkar played the role of his brother in the film. Now in a recent interview, the actor has spoken many things about Big B's nature and his fun during the shooting of Satte Pe Satta.
Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Pilgaonkar worked on the movie Satte Pe Satta. The actor recently related a story about this movie in an interview. He stated that after the shoot, Amitabh used to party so hard that Jaya Bachchan had to go look for him.
In an interview given to Radio Nasha, Sachin also revealed many other secrets related to the actor. Sachin stated that Jaya and her two kids were in Kashmir at the time of Satte Pe Satta's filming. Amitabh used to party until midnight or early the next morning after the filming, and Jaya Bachchan would go looking for him. He said that Amit Ji used to sit in his car and come to Broadway to party with us every day after packing up. When Amitabh visited the Oberoi Hotel, Jaya ji would constantly search for him. Back then, there were no cell phones.
Sachin further said Amit ji used to tell us, 'Call Jaya ji and tell her that I am here.' He used to sit with us till 1-2 in the night and talk. He loved spending time with us. "
In this regard, he also spoke about the nature of Amitabh Bachchan. Sachin says, "Our timing was very good. We were not best friends, Bachchan sahab maintains distance." This is his nature; I am not saying anything against him. A person should be like this, that's why nobody could be friends with him."
Sachin said Amitabh is a respecter of all people, irrespective of age. He said, "He not only respects elders but also gives full respect to people younger than him. If he is sitting for shooting and I go to meet him, he will stand up, wave his hand, and greet people. This is his sanskaar."
Sachin says, "We used to have so much fun on the sets. It seemed like we were off for some picnic." He says, 'We all were such crazy people; the only decent person on the set was Amitabh Bachchan. Being the most disciplined person on the sets, Bachchan became good friends with many artists.
