Director Vignesh Shivan has come in support of 'Pushpa 2' actor Allu Arjun and reacted to the actor's emotional reunion with his family after spending a night in Chanchalguda jail. Allu Arjun, arrested on Friday in connection with the tragic stampede incident at the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, was granted interim bail for 4 weeks. The whole scene at his home was so emotional as Allu Arjun returned home after spending a night in jail. Vignesh Shivan is amazed by the whole dignity and understanding with which Allu Arjun handled the whole situation.

Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday and sent to 14-day judicial custody by a local court in Hyderabad. This happened due to a tragic incident that took place on December 4, when a stampede at Sandhya theatre led to the death of a 35-year-old woman and her eight-year-old son was injured. Thousands of fans had gathered to see the actor during the premiere, leading to chaos.
On Friday, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for a period of four weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However, he had to spend a night in jail due to a delay in paperwork. On being released this morning, Allu Arjun expressed regret, calling the woman's death very unfortunate. He said, "I thank everyone, this incident was very unfortunate, we are extremely sorry for whatever happened. We are with the family. This has never happened to anyone. I am there to support the family in every way. I am thankful to everyone."
