Actor Abhay Deol's film 'Road, Movie', which came in 2009, has completed its 15 years of release. Now the film has been released again in theaters. On this occasion, the hero of the film Abhay Deol has expressed happiness while giving his reaction. The actor said that like his character in the film, he was also looking for something new, different, and exciting.
Abhay Deol shared the trailer of the film on his official Instagram account. Sharing this, Abhay wrote in the caption, "A film I made in the early years of my career. Just like my character in the film, I was also searching for something new, something different, something unfamiliar and exciting. Road Movie is playing once again in cinemas today. If you want to see something that defies the mainstream narrative today as much as it did 15 years ago, catch the film in the cinema before it’s gone!"
Further giving information about the re-release of the film, the actor wrote, "The film 'Road, the movie' is running in theatres once again today. If you want to see something that is still challenging the mainstream storytelling as it did 15 years ago, then go and watch the film before it is removed from theatres."
Directed by Dev Benegal, the film 'Road, the movie' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2009 and after this, the film was also shown in the Generation 14 Plus section of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2010. Apart from Abhay Deol, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Satish Kaushik are also in important roles in the film. The story of the film was about the journey of a young man named Vishnu in the mythological Indian perspective which becomes a life-changing journey.
Abhay Deol will now be seen in the film 'Bun Tikki'. Directed by Faraz Arif Ansari, this film will also feature Zeenat Aman, Shabana Azmi and Nusrat Bharucha. The film recently had its global premiere at the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival in California.
