Aamir Khan's reaction to his son’s Junaid Khan debut film 'Maharaj'
Award-winning actor Junaid Khan, who starred in the Netflix film Maharaj, is excited to work with a group of people and a cast that support each other as much as they did.
Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan, who debuted in "Maharaj," recently talked about how the actor felt after seeing the movie. The debutant disclosed in a recent interview that the movie left an impression on his father.
During the same interview, Junaid also shared how he felt upon joining the project. He said, "When Sid (Siddharth P Malhotra) and Adi Sir called me for this story, I found it very appealing. I really liked Sid Sir's part. The Yash Raj banner is significant, so taking on this project was an obvious choice."
Elated with the audience's reaction after watching the film, Junaid shared his excitement. "I cannot explain in words what I'm feeling right now. Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me, but all's well that ends well I guess.”
Maharaj, based on Saurabh Shah's book and true events, unfolds in 1800s Bombay. It centers on Karsandas Mulji, a fearless journalist and devoted social reformer played by Khan. The narrative centers on his encounter with a high priest, known as a "maharaj" (Jaideep Ahlawat), who is charged with abusing women devotees sexually.
